Resort Aka Barayun, Lembah Harau
There is 100 metre high waterfall at resort Aka Barayun with its small pool, the water is fresh and cold. We can climb a valley up, just next to the waterfall to get a better view of the Lembah. The echoed valley is in this area too, it is about 10 minutes drive from the waterfall, near a entrance to a resort if you want to spend a night here.
Our driver is not really helpful at first especially when we are at echoed valley, we don’t know where the valley exactly so we think we are in right way when we are going to an resort nearby as we saw there is valley behind it but a lady come and explain to us that the valley we are looking for is just on the road? Really?? And our driver just sit quietly when we walk this way, huuuffff.

Another embarassing thing is, when we are the valley we have no idea how to do "the echoed thing" so we try to find a hole on the valley and scream but no echoed sound. Just after another car come we realize what we did is totally wrong (our driver just sit on the car, again). You know what, their driver just standing at the road with the echoed valley at his back, not really need to find a hole like us, damn!! Sure it does, there is echoed sound straight away so after we laugh at each other we busy doing "the echoed game sound".

Resort Sarasah Bunta, Lembah Harau
It is about 30-45 minute drive from Aka Berayun, the view along the way is beautiful, rice field sorrounding by valleys.
There are 4 waterfall here, they are :(1) Sarasah Aie Luluih with the, local people believe if you wash your face here, it will cure acne and stay young (2) Sarasah Bunta (3)Sarasah Murai, local people believe that single person will find their soul mate if take a shower under the waterfall and pray to God. The last waterfall (4) is Sarasah Aie Angek, the water a bit hot but it is quite far from the rest waterfall.Resort Rimbo Piobang is the 3rd area here, the Safari Park they planned to build here is not develop yet.
We had our "nasi kapau" breakfast at Sarasah Bunta waterfall, and guess what, after the breakfast the driver became very nice even suggest ous to go to another spot which is not in our list. Everyone look each other and smiling, he must be hungry before (positive thinking)
Ngalau Indah (a spot which is not in our list)
It is a small cave at a hill area, like a normal cave there are stalagmite and stalagtite here. There is one stalagmite named crying stalagmite by local as people heard there is crying sound sometime.
Istana Pagaruyung, Batusangkar
The next stop is Istana Pagaruyung, a traditional house of West Sumatra called “Rumah Gadang, 1 hour away from Lembah Harau. It is a proof of existence Pagaruyung's kingdom. It is one of the tourist spot now and we can take a picture with in Sumatra’s traditional outfit with some fee.

Danau Singkarak, Solok
This is the last spot we visit today. It is the second largest lake in Indonesia after Lake Toba, canoing could be arrange here. The lake surrounding by some hills, the weather is so fresh but it is too bad that sky is cloudy so we can't enjoy the mix colour of blue sky, blue water and green tree. We have a lunch at a restaurant by the lake, tried the famous “ikan Bilih” which is only live in Danau Singkarak (must try). The ikan bilih is nice but i think the food here is over price. We are finish for today at Bukittingi and heading our way to Bungus.
