Review El Pilar - Madrid

One of my reason to choose this hostel is the location! It is very close to Puerta del Sol, the best known and  busiest place in Madrid. It is only 50m from Sol metro station if you are not lost (we did lost), the price they offer is consider cheap too, for private room we only need to pay 50 euro for 2 person.

This hostel locate on 2nd and 3rd  floor of the building, from the 1st floor there is lift access to 2nd but not to 3rd, luckily our room in 2nd floor. We arrived early morning from Sevilla, luckily there is 24hour reception, if we can check in earlier at lest we can leave our backpack in the hotel and we quite lucky, we can do early check in, just need to wait like about 1 hours in the reception area.

The room is small but importantly it is clean and most of tourist area is walkable, even the Puerta del Sol square is just few step from this hostel.

Love the location and the affordable price! If you looking cheap price and location, this hostel is the option.
